 It's also worth cutting down your caffeine intake. "Excess caffeine can disrupt your sleep and stimulate your nervous system, causing your adrenal glands to pump out cortisol," Duigan says. "The best alternative is to chop up some ginger and drink it in hot water with a slice of lemon."



Bust a move: Tube walking


"Lifts your bottom like nothing else and helps to stabilise the knee, hip and ankle joints."

1. Put a band around your ankles and walk slowly for 20 steps, keeping tension in the band. At all times keep the upper body as still and straight as possible.

2. Place the band above the knees, assume a squat position and walk for 20 steps.
